Description, Notes

Protea (Proteaceae) Family Australian native shrub grown for its almost non-stop exotic bloom; the flower is a bit more pinkish-red and the bush is a little lower growing than its close relative G. ‘Ned Kelly’; drought and deer resistant; attracts hummingbirds; prefers well-drained soils and deep infrequent watering once established; can be used as a hedge; can be used as a water-wise patio plant; great in the wind; low Phosphorus fertilizer or none at all
